Update: There seem to have been some problems with the original file, and I have to re-edit, convert, and upload it. Stay tuned for the new, more complete episode.

A new show from your friends in Germany. No real main topic today, but a variety of mini-topics instead. Plus, voicemails and emails and lazy show notes.
Music courtesy of the Podsafe Music Network. Featured songs were High Fives and Mystical Ages by Racecar.
Promo played was for Polyamory Weekly, as seen on Wikipedia. Unless it's been deleted again.

Not a real show, but I have to make up for last week somehow. Links too all the shows can be found by going to google.com... what, you didn't really think I was going to put 100+ links in here, did you? Ask me if you have trouble finding any of them.
Lazy show notes, plus no music, just my mindless rambling. Have fun! Also apparently the vote on Jack's page has changed, so never mind. You can still vote for number three, since I like Christiana's voice.

On account of the fourth of July. That's our story, and we're sticking to it. Besides, the last episode got posted late and was really long, so you could always pretend it was the average of two episodes. Or something.
More Der Geekery next week!

Late but in earnest. Scheduling problems caused us not to be able to record until Friday night, which basically meant I wasn't able to edit the show until today. So, sorry tht it's late, but think of it as getting a two-fer this week! In this episode, Leanna and I discuss such things as Fringe (promising) and the US Life on Mars series (avoid!), the new Indiana Jones movie, and others.
We delve into the topic of the German School System, which goes on a bit long, and along the way recount some anecdotes about our school life. By the way, that Wikipedia article has a lot of additional information, and is pretty interesting. Worth checking out.
Last but not least, we respond to your voicemails, and by your, we mean Jack Jaffee's.
If you want to contact the show, give us a call at 206-888-2644, or send an email to dergeek@gmail.com, or comment on the blog at dergeek.com. Also, feel free to follow me on Twitter.
Promos played were for Metamor City (great show), Tale Chasing (Tes Fest sounds like fun!), and The Weird Show (Encaf, you... have a great handle).
Music is courtesy of the Podsafe Music Network. Featured songs were Let the Cool Goddess Rust Away and Over and Over Again Lost and Found by Clap Your Hands Say Yeah.

Scheduling snafus and summer movies caused episode 12 to be a little late this week. If you cant get enough of my voice, check out episode 13 of the Cue The Film podcast at http://cuethefilm.blogspot.com/2008/06/cue-film-13-episode-of-movie-shame.html.

Sorry in advance to those of you with slow connections (Yeah, sorry Jack), but we have something extra special for you this week. As mentioned in our previous episodes, the fest is in town, and the confluence of that and us having borrowed my sister's camcorder, led to us filming this brief tour of the fest. We hope you enjoy it!
No promos or music this week, but be sure to check out the Cue The Film podcast, since I made a guest appearance on their most recent episode, and you may quite possibly be hearing more from me on that show as well.
P.S. I did my best to make sure the video is ipod-compatable. If not, or if any of you out there have trouble viewing it, drop us a line at DerGeek@gmail.com, or leave us a voice comment at 206-888-2644.

We've made it to episode 10! (Woohoo)
In this episode, well, we have the second part of the Jack Jaffee interview, and lots and lots of technical problems (such as the third half of the Jack Jaffee interview not wanting to be imported into Audacity, and a strange consistent clicking sound)
Promos played were for The Podcast Formerly Known as the MILF and Cookie Podcast, and Nobilis Erotica.
Music courtesy of the Podsafe Music Network. Featured songs were Wasting My Time by Creature Republic, and Go by Fishing for Comets.
Sorry about the audio quality. We'll have it fixed by next time. I won't feel bad if you skip it...

This week, instead of Libsyn eating my blog post, Audacity ate my podcast. So, no Leanna this week in the intro and outro babble. But she sends her love and rolling r's.
This week, we interview this show's mentor and founding father, as well as all-round good guy, Jack Jaffee from 12vTheater.com.
We also answer your voicemail, including two from Nobilis.
Promos this week are from Nobilis Erotica and  Polyamory Weekly.
Music courtesy of the Podsafe Music Network. Featured songs were Set Me Free by The Movement, and Four Fingered Fisherman by Modest Mouse.
Stay tuned next week for part two of the Jack Jaffee interview.
See you at DragonCon!
